This past weekend was weird. Instead of going into the details (yet), I decided to post a list of my takeaways. Maybe some will speak to you, too. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Link to blog in @laurainsleywriter profile. So grateful to have seen my favorite writer/poet/lyricist/musician @anidifranco at @treefortfest! Caught her performance on Saturday and her #Storyfort “In Conversation” with @msjesshopp at the @idahostatemuseum today! Such a special weekend! 🙏🏼💖 Wrote a new thing. Anyone else LOVE #BeachCottageChronicles from @magnolianetwork on @hbomax? 🌊🌴🐚 Also, any @anidifranco fans in the crowd? I inadvertently made (at least) two Ani references in my post. Call them out and we’ll become best friends! Bonus points if you’re joining me at @treefortfest tomorrow night to catch her performance! 🥳🥳🥳 Full article on the blog—link in @laurainsleywriter profile. Finally getting to a @treefortfest event! This time with the kiddos at #storyfort HQ, the @idahostatemuseum! #kidfort Yesterday was a rough hundred years. I wrote about it in three haikus… Link to my poetry on the blog in @laurainsleywriter profile. 😅 It’s a rainy morning here in Boise, but we had to get out of the house. We pass a car wash, as I’m considering the connection with water. This rain, the wash, and the card I drew for the collective. Today, engage your playful heart. Get out in the water and splash around. Even invite some people along for the fun. 🙏🏼😊
