It is not lost on me that the last time I published a blog post was almost exactly one year ago, and I also was sick. Apparently, when I enter a “forced rest,” I get the itch to revive this baby. Why? Probably because we have some unfinished business.
The “we” being me and my purpose.
(but that’s a story for another time.)
Anyway, it is often said that when we haven’t learned our lesson yet, the Universe will keep slapping us in the face or knocking us down until we do.
Thus, here I am—back where I was a year ago. That is not to say that I didn’t learn anything. I learned a lot. I accomplished a bunch of stuff. I met some cool people and established new connections. I even let some shit go. It was productive!
If all that’s true (and it is), then what am I doing wrong?
Ah, I won’t josh you around. I know the answer.
Let’s just hope this particular time becomes the impetus for a real change. I’m due for a good leveling up, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
But uh, in the meantime, it’s nice to be back.
